The International Excellence Awards 2027 (https://designskill.org/international-excellence-awards/), organised by Architecture & Design Community, are now open to architects, designers, studios, manufacturers and students worldwide.
Projects completed or designed within the last seven years can be entered in 11 categories with 240 nominations, from architecture, interiors and landscape to furniture, lighting, packaging, product, fashion, transportation and communication design. A separate AI-Powered Innovation category is open to projects created fully or partially with AI.
There is no ranking and no fixed number of winners per category. Every project is reviewed blind and scored by each juror against three criteria (Innovation & Originality; Design & Aesthetic Quality; Functionality & Spatial Integration).
Average scores of 9.0–10 earn Platinum, 7.5–8.9 Gold, 6.0–7.4 Silver and 4.5–5.9 Bronze. This season’s jury includes professionals from Brazil, Egypt, Thailand and the USA.
The 2026 Platinum winners included CASA JESUS & ULRIKE by Mauricio Ceballos, MCXA (Mexico), Saint Ives by Max Nobel, Nobel LA (USA), and Pandora by Lee Chung-Lin, YUN-YIH Design Company (Taiwan).
Deadlines: Early Bird 30 October 2026; Advance 24 November 2026; Standard 8 January 2027; Extended 9 February 2027; Late 16 March 2027. Project submission: 19 March 2027. Winners: 6 April 2027.
